We’re looking for a versatile, highly capable individual to act as our gatekeeper for new product development, defining, implementing and controlling our product strategy.


The New Product Development Manager will build our product range structure and optimize product selection following the company’s overall strategy and guided by market demands. The individual will be expected to prepare assortment reviews annually and track item efficiency continuously, working with the Sourcing team to boost category profitability.


The New Product Development Manager will also propose a promotion communication plan and support the marketing team, providing relevant content and product training as necessary.


The New Product Development Manager will listen to customers – actively seeking our their voices – and act on feedback, liaising with our Customer Service team.




Basic knowledge of China’s food regulations and food importation procedures.


Basic knowledge of the grocery sector.


Understanding of Western expat needs and food trends.


3 years of similar experience in the food/FMCG sectors in product sourcing, purchasing and procurement.


Computer literacy in MS office.


While not essential, Chinese language skills will be very beneficial.


We particularly welcome individuals with import/export, wholesaler or retailer experience.
